my lovely amazing rachael has made it safely back from russia. this makes me very happy. i'm looking forward to may term when i can see her everyday. :)


so what makes love so important? why must it allow me to overlook other things? i'm not saying that i don't want it or that i don't like it... i'm just wondering... so am i really ready for the way love makes me feel? are you ready? love starts out so sweet and innocent but it means much more than that. i was once ask what loves was.... has it lost the meaning that i gave it then. i said love was a commitment that you make for a lifetime... is that what i've made? right now i don't think i'm ready for the answer. the bible says Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love will last forever...

is this what we have? do we show one another love like this? or are we simply being nice because we think this is how we should act. don't let chances slip away to show love. how will the world know us as followers of Christ if we do not show love like He did? Christ didn't ask for our hearts in the Scripture. Christ ask for our lives. our culture says being a Christian is easy. sure giving someone a name is easy but living the life of a Christian that's hard. if Christianity seems easy to you then maybe you don't know what Christianity is all about. Denying oneself is never easy and it can't be done on your own. surrender all to Christ and let His Spirit take control.
